Karina Meza

Communications

 

Karina Meza is the Director of Communications at Hispanic Access Foundation. As a Mexican-American immigrant, Karina is hoping to connect immigrant communities with the resources they might need to enhance their life. She provides a visual eye for design and critical communication support to our organization. Karina will implement communications plans, including management of social media, and media content to press releases, training materials, and program reports.

Fluent in spanish with the ability to translate materials, she also brings more than four years of communications management experience developing and implementing communications strategies, media pitches, media relations, strategic social media, media kits, and strategic marketing. Prior to joining Hispanic Access Foundation, Karina was an Account Manager at On The Marc Media where she oversaw numerous clients’ marketing and public relations needs. Karina graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations. Karina also holds an Associate’s degree from Montgomery College

In her free time, Karina enjoys biking, hiking, yoga and playing tennis with friends.
